Image
Oliver is so fun! Lilly wanted to put pony tails in his hair.. He actually set still and let us.. Ha!     It was actually a blast.     We joked and laughed so hard!!!   I love what a good sport he is! And I love the way he is with his sister's. He rarely says no to them..

Weekend...

Image
Nothing special.. No big event.. Just a weekend.. Just everyday (boring )life I love seeing how excited they are when Daddy comes home for the weekend.. We miss him so much! These two are fascinated with rocks. It amazes me all the wonderful scenarios and games they can come up with  a pile of rocks.   Saturday we went to Fredricksburg for lunch and grocery shopping. I REALLY wanted Burger Burger.. They have the BEST sweet potatoe  fries!!  We also signed Colt up for Baseball... I wanted Oliver to play but he was not feeling it:( We had to wait on the (freezing ) patio for a table for what felt like a hundred years. Thankfully Colt had his Spider Man"phone" and trucks to keep him busy. lol!     Then came home to a cow in the yard... lol.. #farmlife... Notice our little black dog, Bubblegum? He thinks he is a cow dog...hahaha!! It was also Super Bowl weekend... Very low key and boring this year..    Mainly beca

Potty Training...

Image
We are starting to get serious about potty training. Storrie tells me every time she is wet or poopy, but has a bit of a fear of the toilet. Lilly had the idea of bring the potty in the living room so she could potty and watch Doc McStuffins at the same time.. It worked! We finally got her to set on it.  I am sure she is going to totally hate me for these pictures someday.. heehee.. But she is just too adorable !

5th Grade Valentine's Day Dance

Image
Oliver went to his first "Boy/Girl" dance last week. It was the 5th Grade Valentine Day Dance... He looked so grownup and handsome in his tie .. He really was not in the mood to have his picture made , but he finally let me take a few (I had to beg and threaten though.. ha!) Silly, goofy boy! This poor kid was so nervous about going. He had his first "date" with a sweet girl named Blazie. Not really a date, more just a cute girl he was meeting there. It took almost 30 minutes for him to finally go in. Ha!! He said it was a lot of fun. He did not dance with Blazie.. just "kind of hung out"...lol! I hate how fast this sweet boy is growing up.

Cow(boy) Boots

Image
Both girls have cowboy boot.. Both love their boot.. But Storrie really LOVES hers!!! She gets so excited when ever she gets to wear them.  She call them her "Cow" boots and will say "giddy-up" and "yee-haw" while stomping around the house giggling. Both girls defiantly inherited my loves for shoes..lol!! I love so much how something as simple as boots makes her so happy!! .. Again.. totally my daughter:) Lilly also finished her Valentine's Day heart for school (she loves homework..lol) She worked so hard on it  and is super proud!

Their First Sleepover and Kisses for Oliver

Image
Colt and Lilly had their first real sleepover at someone's house... Our wonderful new friends here.. Les and Jennifer, invited them over to spend the night with Austin. I was a nervous wreck.. But LOVE this family and knew they where in really good hands. They had a BLAST!!!! The funny thing is that I packed their bags and it seems they "repacked" them with toys...lol! So Colt didn't have clothes for the next day and Lilly's PJs and play clothes where missing as well. Next time I know to double check!!! Pickles the goat..ha! Storrie kept asking "Where 'Illy and Coltie  at Momma?" With her sweet little arms in the air. Then she would say "They at school Momma"??? Oliver was a great big brother and showed her a lot of extra love and attention.
