22 months {Storrie}

Image
{September 19th}22 months.... Another month has passed at warp speed and my baby girl is one month closer to being 2 years old. It is hard to believe at this time two years ago we did not even know about her and here I am now planning her second birthday party. Two years ago, we had no idea that in just a few short weeks our hearts would become full and our family would become complete. Storrie has become our best surprise .  Our sweet girl is changing so much daily. I can not get over how much this kid talks. Just today Colt sneezed and Storrie said "Bless you". She can already talk in two and three word sentences. And she is becoming so funny and sassy..lol.  And the attitude is starting..lol.. My once easy going, quiet baby girl is defiantly starting to let her thoughts be known. And becoming just a tad stubborn. And she has discovered the joys of annoying Colt. She seems to take great pleasure in disturbing him while playing with his trucks and making

Harper Friday Night Football...

We finally made it to a Harper home game... I have to say (and sure I will say it over and over) I just love these Harper people. No ne will ever replace my girls. They will always be my best of the best friends... But I am meeting some great ladies here also. They are so welcoming!!! The kids had a blast seeing some of their friends and running around acting all crazy... And the girls looked sooooo darn cute!! I bet we where stopped every five feet or so someone could admire the girls:)   We where having to much fun to get many pictures and Oliver was spending the night with  Katie Beth so sadly he missed the first game.  Watching those big boys play, I could not help but to think that that will be my boys out there in a few years.. wow!!! I just have to not think about it..lol.

FOOTBALL!!! {my boys}

This year both my boys started playing football. Oliver is playing tackle and Colt is playing flag. It seems football has taken over our lives. We have four practices a week and two games on Saturdays. This makes for some long nights and some very sweaty, stinky boys. But seeing my boys out on the field makes it all worth it. The day of their first games, they played at the same time. So Jeff and I had to split up so we could each be at a game. I stayed with Coltie since he is littler (and a big momma's baby still) ...   This is his "Game Face"!! The best part is watching my little man make friends!! Austin is the sweetest little boy EVER! He is in pre-school with Lilly and calls her his girlfriend..lol.. and he and Colt call each other "Best Buddy". And his mom is totally amazing   And Colt just comes alive on the field. That boy loves sports and is a natural. He beams!He tries so hard and does so good. I have a feeling he is going

First Day od School {the girls}

Image
Cathing up from September... FINALLY the day Lilly has been waiting for... Her {and Storrie's} first day of school, I have never seen a child want to go to school so bad. She literally danced her way into class. Storrie was a little less thrilled once she found out she was staying.. lol. I had all these great plans while they where in school. But instead I kind of wondered around lost, walking in circles. Lol. But we all have adjusted wonderfully. . Over the past month Storrie has grown to love school and her teachers. Lilly looks forward to school everyday and even gets upset on weekends when she can't go to school.lol.
