A really bad start ended is a sweet blessing

It seem that every Sunday something tries to keep us from church. Yesterday morning I woke up early to get myself and everyone ready. I can truly say that I did not have anything to wear. Everything is too big or to small and my lack of a tan kept me from wearing a dress, so I rushed to Target and found something. Ok.... a few somethings. I get back home, rush around and get everyone (including Jeff) ready. We got everyone in the truck just to discover the truck was having issues and there was no way we were going any where. Ok.. when I started this blog I promised to be honest, even about the ugly stuff. Well... it got ugly this Sunday morning. I lost it. I threw a fit. The kind of fit that if one of the kids threw they would be grounded until my grandchildren went away to collage. I am embarrassed by they way I acted. In my defenseIi think it was a lot of things that hit me all at once. You moms out there know how exhausting raising children is. Jeff is almost as much work as all

Yesterday was the first MOPS meeting of the year. We had Mom Olympics and then decorated the center piece for our tables. I took tons of pictures then realized that I did not have the memory card in my camera. Can you say"Duh".   I am so excited about the ladies in my group. They are so amazing! I can't wait to get to meet the other girls who did not make it. We all have so much in common. From fitness to blogging. I am so honored to be able to serve these girls and pray that God uses me to bless them. I am especially excited to have Lisa as our mentor mom. I have a feeling that I am going to learn a lot from her. MHS was playing in Lubbock last night so we did not go to the game. I am sure everyone misses seeing Lilly all dressed up <grin>We had a nice night at home. I made dinner and we all watched cartoons together. It was so sweet watching the kids play blocks together.   I love how Lilly thinks she is such a big girl and how she wants to be in the middl

Last night Sara and her boyfriend, Michael, came over for a big dinner. It will be the last time I cook for both them before they move in less then two weeks. I made some of Sara's favorites. Fried lemon pepper chicken with rice and gravy and squash and deviled eggs. The kids adore Michael. I can't figure out who likes playing more, him or them. He even took out my trash and helped with the dishes I worry for my future Grandkids Sisters and finally friends Somehow I managed to finish this painting while preparing for the kids to come over. Today before CDO: It is easier to bag a cat then to take pictures of two babies at the same time How cute is this little doll baby?! I turned my back just for a minute and the next thing I knew, Colt was teaching Lils to climb the stairs. Colt thought this was the funniest thing ever. I miss Colt so much while he is at his school, but I really love this time with Lilly and a

They wanted mommy on the floor playing with them I just love how much Colt and Lilly love each other All day they follow one another around. They hug and love on one another .They play so sweetly with one another. I hope with all my heart that they always love each other this much.                                  Much to my delight, my beautiful Sara came over for a little bit.                                     There are only two weeks left before she moves to Colorado                                         which makes me treasure these visits that much more Becky, Summer and baby Ryder came over to see us for a little bit also.
