Another crazy weekend at the zoo...

Saturdays use to be so relaxing. Calm. We would sleep in. Watch a little TV. Maybe I would catch a movie with a friend and then do a little shopping. Then we would go out to a nice "grown up" restaurant for dinner.

BOY!! How have things changed!!

Our Saturdays are now all about waking up early with the kids. Saturday's now are all about  donuts for breakfast , morning cartoons and  are full of birthday parties or other kid related activities. They are all about the kids and I love it this way.

We started the day by rushing around to get the kids all dressed then headed to a mini photo session for Lilly. I stressed for weeks about the perfect outfit for Lilly to wear. Woke up early, bathed and dressed her. Made sure her hair was perfect. She looked like a doll.

By the time we got to the shoot this is what she had done.

HA! Thankfully it only took a minute to get her put back together.

Like I think I have mentioned before I am blessed to have several friend that are amazing photographers. This was a lemon aide stand mini session done by Angela Pregler. So stinking cute!!!
I couldn't help but to snap a few of my own pictures of the process.

I can hardly wait to see the final pictures. I know they are going to be amazing!!
And isn't this stand gorgeous!?! My friend Erin at Rainy Day built it. You can find her on Facebook.

Angela was a little behind so it but us behind. Soon as we were done we rushed to one of my best friends grandson, Lincoln,  3rd birthday party. We were about half a hour late but we still had a total blast. Janlyn, Lincoln's mom, did a great job on this party it was so cute!! She made the cupcakes herself.

They had the party at the same place we did Colt's. The kids love the play area.

Ha!! Love this fishy face.

I LOVE this photo prop that Janlyn made. She is so creative!

I adore this woman!!!
We came home and took a nap then we were of to Stanton Trade Days. It was so hot so we did not stay very long. I didn't get any picture it was just too hot!!

That is how we spent our Saturday.
My new life wears me out but I would not change a single thing. I adore my little monsters!!

Sunday we took it really easy on Sunday. After working on the pool for weeks Jeff finally got it ready.
The kids were super excited.  Colt DID NOT want his life vest on. It was a fight! As in Bren and me holding him down kicking and screaming and forcing him on it. But soon as he hit the water all was forgiven and he had a blast!!

Ollie is doing great on his swimming this year. So proud. He is all ready for swim camp in a few weeks.

Our little diving diva

She was not a big fan of this life vest

Here is Lilly modeling her new swim suit. She knows how cute she is.

And just for fun. These were taken the first time at the pool last year.
I love looking back to see how much they have grown and changed.
Same sun glassed as above
