Brennas 13th Birthday

 

Weekend before last (June 7th) was Brenna's 13th birthday.

I seriously can not belive this child is a teen ager already...Even though she has acted like one since she was 5..Ha!

Saturday Brenna and I went on our annual birthday shopping trip. If you hear load sopping coming from our house in the nezxt week or two, don't worry. It just means Jeff got his credit card statement. This girl can shop!!!

It was extra fun for me. Brenna has really started to get in to fashion and has a similar style that I do (except mine is suited for my age). She asked me to pick out her tops. Sadly the selection at the mall was not the grestest but we still managed to find several cute things. but I think one more trip is in order:) the most difficult thing is finding shorts that do  not look like denim panties. It is crazy how short they are and aimed at these young girls. It really just is not cool!!

The night before our shopping trip Bren slept with me so we look at all the fashion sites..lol.. I love how close we are becoming. The older she gets the more we have in common. Specially our love for fashion. She has really started confiding in me with problems with friends and boy stuff. I am so thankful that we are bonding. She really is such a special young lady.
