The summer heat wave has hit!! It is 105 today and suppose to be 107 tomorrow.
Seriously!! I have endured 40 West Texas summers and the heat never stops to shock me. This heat makes finding things to do with the little ones more difficult since a lot of out door activities are out of the question with this heat!! So we got up early this morning and picked up some food and headed to the museum for a really early picnic (10am) then after Tonia and her girls (Maddy and Kensley) met us at the Children's Museum for a play date. Love this place!! Specially since it is indoors:) Leanda was suppose to meet us there with her girls (since Ethen was already with us from spending the night with Oliver). But baby Carol kept her up to late:( Least we will all be together a little later today for the girls first Ballet class (Yippee!)

We tried to get a picture of all the little ones together, but Kensley did not want to get even a little close to the other kids..lol

Colt was making his silly face so the other kids started doing it. So he got mad and refused to do it for a picture (such a little stinker) But the other three were more then happy to pose for me.
Had a great time with the kids and my bestie. Also met a new mom that just moved her from Houston, she has a boy about Colt's age and a girl about Lilly's. She made a comment that she wanted to adopt. So of course I told her how adoption has blessed our lives. It was so amazing.. She looked at me with excitement and said "I just prayed yesterday that God would bring someone into my life who has adopted". I LOVE this!! I love how God has used these amazing little ones to promote the wonders of adoption. She is also a total sweet heart so I hope the littles and I made new friends:)
