Brenna Wins!!

A few Saturdays back, Brenna had a speech competition for her theater class. The night before she practiced for me and I was amazed at just how talented this girl is. She had to reenact Alice falling down the rabbit hole in "Alice and Wonderland". She really is so talented. He is so expressive and well spoken. It was so much fun watching her. For the actual competition, she did not want us to go watch. She was afraid it would make her nervous. So we dropped her off and ran errands for the next few hours waiting on her phone call.

Finally it was time to go get her. I have to tattle on my husband.. He was so nervous for her. He kept saying how much he hoped she placed. He just can not stand to see his "Brenna Boo" sad or disappointed. I actually think that he was more nervous then her. HA! It was killing him that he could not watch, poor guy:)

 

Much to our delight, not only did Brenna place.. She won first place!!!

Can you tell that Jeff is one proud Daddy here?!
