A little of this.. A little of that
Yesterday was one of those days that I started counting down minutes until it was time to go to bed about 15 minutes after I woke up. I decided to start potty training with Colt which was stressful enough. Then our AC froze up and we were with out air conditioning all day and night. It was hot and miserable. Colt was having to much fun in his "big boy underpants" so we kept doing the potty thing all day. It was hot and miserable. The kids were cranky and so was their momma.
Today I can't help but to laugh at myself.
I looked at the pictures that I had taken and I could not stop smiling at the memories of the kids cuteness yesterday. It really put things in prospective... Even the most difficult of days holds so many special moments and blessings. Even hot and cranky they are beautiful and so funny.
Here is a little bit of our day yesterday
The babies love watching Ollie play his Game Boy
Ollie let Lilly have a turn all by herself.
This is her happy dance:)
Our down stairs bath room is really small so we have to set the potty out side the door. Colt loved sitting on his potty. I bet he set on it two dozen times or more, but never actually tinkled in it. He did how ever tinkle on the floor in Ollie's room and the kitchen a few times... sigh. The cutest thing ever is when he would try to be like Ollie and stand to try and tinkle, he looked at me as serious as he could be and said "Momma.. I think my winkie is broken. It's not working Ma. Tinkle is not coming out". Ha!!! He is just to precious.
Due to the heat.. we shed the clothes.
Colt was loving the cold grapes.
Today
Thank goodness today the AC was working again.
Nothing exciting was going on today, just a few cute moments I don't want to forget.
Colt had to wear a hat just like brother
Colt was in trouble. This is him hiding from me. He kept saying
...Shhh.. Momma. Coltie not here. Just my blankie is...
Ha!!!!
This ladder in the family room is about to drive me nuts!
This is Colt "helping" me get Lilly off.
He helped her off so he could get on himself.
So finally I got them both off of it and interested in something else.
I walked into the kitchen to do a few things and realized how quiet the babies were being so I went
back in to check on them and this is what I find. These two are totally crazy and into EVERYTHING.
Today was Ollie's last day of VBS. I am so thankful for all the hard work of the staff and members of First Baptist that work so hard to put this on every year for the kids. It really was a fun time for Ollie.
Here are a few things that he made.
.... Your word is my source of hope.
