If you don't like the weather.. Just wait a minute
Monday was such a beautiful day. It was around 90 degrees. The weather forecast showed Tuesday was going to be in the 50's(Crazy West Texas Weather). The littles and I decided to take advantage of this beautiful day and play out side. This was there first time with side walk chalk and it was a big hit!!
I was on the phone with my mother and for some reason I said the word "hate". This is Colt telling me to not say that word again. It's a bad word:)
All the sudden the coloring came to a halt.. Colt saw a bug and was fascinated. I love being the mom to a boy:) He makes me look at the world with totally different eyes.
Ronn and Missy were leaving there house down the street and stopped to say "HI" and "Bye" before they left on there trip. At first Lilly saw her 'Issy (as she calls her) and had to get hugs. Then she saw Ronn on the passenger side and she forgot all about her "Issy and her Momma. I made the joke that Ronn and Lilly look a lot a like. Ronn then said "Good, I will take her". He told Lilly to tell her Momma bye and she did.. She was all set on leaving. I informed all three of them (Missy, Ronn and Lilly) they were going to have to wait at least another 20 years before she became a Madrid. Then she will be old enough to marry one of the boys.. Yes.. Missy and I have it all planned out:)
Colt jumped in the back with the boys and Blaze was nice enough to share his toy gun. Colt thought it was totally cool. He has talked abouyt it for the past two days. (Looks like i will making a trip to Wal-Mart soon)
Finally made it back in. The littles danced around the kitchen to their Yo Gabba Gabba CD and ate ice cream (frozen yogurt).
So thankful for such a beautiful, fun day. The last two days have been so cold that we are stuck inside. I can not wait for more warm days. I am looking forward to many "nature" walks this summer, trips to the park and picnics. I just love our simple day to day lives with our children. They truly are a blessing!
Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the LORD has ordained it?
