Another Adventure with Lilly
(I took a ton of great pictures, but for some reason when I tried to down load them they were not there:( Thankfully we snapped a few on Jeff's cell phone.)
I swear that sometimes I think we should have our own reality show.
It is crazy what my little ones can get themselves into. Specially Lilly. She is ten active toddlers wrapped up into one adorable little girl. If there is something to get into, she will.
Tonight, I was picking up in the living room while Lils and Colt were coloring in the kitchen. At least this is what I thought they were doing. Within minutes Colt came to me and told me that Lilly locked herself into the bathroom. Sure enough, she did. Jeff was at the jail bailing out a client so I called him and he called his friend Rusty at the fire station and headed home.
With in minutes the fire truck was in front of our house (one of the picture that is now gone) and three firemen were trying to get the bath room door unlocked. Our home is about 80 years old and I believe the locks are that old as well. It was not budging. Colt was so funny. He kept telling our friend Rusty, "Please save my baby". Lilly would put her fingers under the door and Colt held her hand (another picture that was so sweet and now gone) telling her she would be ok that we would save her. It was so adorable.
I was ready to bust out the bathroom window and climb in, but their level heads won out. They spent about 20 minutes removing a glass pane from the window. Of course we were all to big to climb in it, so my little hero, Oliver stepped up to save the day. The firemen lowered him into the bathroom and he let Lilly out.
Oliver being congratulated on saving his little sister.

During all this craziness Missy and Ronn stopped buy on their way home from the park to see if they could help and to check on their girl. ( I have mentioned before, the Madrid's totally adore Lilly)This picture was taken with in minutes of Lilly being freed. She didn't want her Mommy.. She was all about Ronn:)
Lilly never cried. She thought the whole thing was funny and kept giggling. She was making silly face threw the window at her rescuers.
I am forever grateful to these sweet guys who came right over and saved my baby girl. We asked them if they got a lot of calls like this and they laughed and told us this was their first:)
Lilly is defiantly a handful. She is so adventures that it is scary. I am not looking forward to seeing what she will do next, that's for sure!!
