Trade Days the the Air Show

I love the start of Fall for many reasons.
A few of those reasons are that there just seems to be so much to do.
September Fest. The Air Show. Trade Days. Pumpkin Patch. Fiddlesticks Farms.
Just to name a few.

This Saturday was a crazy busy day. Oliver had his first sleep over at our house so that was fun. We headed to Stanton Trade Days first thing in the morning.
As always Jeff enjoyed being in his home town and seeing old friends.

Jeff with his best friends twin sister and her husband

I love what a "boy" Colt is. He just loves to show off to his Mommy by jumping.

Yummy.. Ice Cream

My silly oldest boy

Then we went to the Air Show. It was so much fun watching the boys get excited over the planes.

We got them these little planes and jets and you would think we gave them one made of gold.
The boys where flying theirs all around. Colt would say"May Day. May Day.. I'm going down" and pretend he was going to crash then Ollie would say as his plane was swooping in "Don't worry Buddy..I'll save you".
Even Lilly got one. She was so cute. She would hold it up like it was fling and purse her little lips and try to make plane sounds.

They had the coolest army camps set up.They let the boys pose with guns and such.

They even got to go inside a old WWII airplane. Colt was to scared to go in with us so he stayed out with Dad and Lilly. The big boys were super excited.

They all behaved wonderfully and we truly did have a wonderful time. Lilly was happy to stay in her stroller and I only had to carry Colt half the time:) When the Tora Tora Tora show started, he did get a little freaked out. The load noices scared him a little and I think hurt his ears. Thank goodness we brought chairs. But over all he did great.

This is the only picture I got of her standing and you can't see very well but the apron on her dress has little airplanes. I ordered it special so she could wear it for the air show :)

Then on Sunday I took the three boys to see Hotal Transelvania.
CUTE movie. I love being able to take Colt to these big boy events. I love even more that he insistef to bring his blankie..lol.. he still is my baby.

The little boy who stayed the night is Kanen. Kanen is actually Colt's biological brother. As I might have mentioned before his mother works for us and they are like family. My kids call her Aunt Sandy and Kanen and his baby brother, John, cousins. I truly feel blessed to have such a great relationship with Sandy so that Colt can grow up knowing and loving his bio-brother.

Here is a picture of Colt with Kanen and John

And all the littles:)
