My Zoo at the Petting Zoo
Saturday we took the littles to the Midland County Fair. We went early to walk around and planned on going back that night to ride the rides. Sadly and thankfully, since we are in much need, it rained that night so we did not get to return. But we did have fun looking at all the animals in the petting zoo and had a fun lunch while we were there.
PETTING ZOO
At first Colt was a little scared when we went int the barn area. I had to hold him for a few minutes, but finally with some coaxing from Brenna he came around. He was in love with the baby chics. He was so excited. I hope to always remember his giggles.
Lilly, fearless as always, could not get enough. She was so excited. I love the way she takes in everything and is phased by very little.
She thought this pig was so cool. She keep saying "Oinkie " then breaking into giggles
Love this.. She is trying to climb into the tub with the bunny's
All the littles had a great time and always makes my heart swell to see them happy
Of course we could not leave without the hubs getting some fair food.

My three handsome guys |
I dread the day that he will be to big to kiss his Daddy |
LOVE! |
As we were leaving Lilly did a little dance for us
It turned out to be the perfect way to spend our morning. Just enough excitement for the littles. And since Colt insisted I carry him most of the time, just enough for mom as well. After we came home and after I got the littles down fora nap, Ollie and I went on a mini shopping trip to The Mall. We still need to get his shoes.
Remind me not to put of ANY shopping what so ever for the Saturday before school starts. It was a mad house. And let's just say Ollie is not the happiest shopper. He reminds me so much of his dad. He even said
" OK. We got what we came for. Let's get out of this mad house". Of course, since I was already there and there was some great sales, that did not happen:) I got all three of the littles some adorable stuff for Fall . When we finally left it was pouring down rain. Ollie and I had so much fun running to the car. We could not find the truck any where. Then it dawned on me.... We were in the car. HA! When we finally got in we were soaking wet and laughing so hard it hurt.Sometimes it is the small things:)
And as we were on our way home Oliver asked
"Who makes rain? God or Jesus".
I said "Well baby, they are father and son. I bet they make it together.
Ollie "That's cool. Yulp.. I like doing stuff with my Dad too".
Awe.. Total sweetness. I;love him so much.
And here they are... The prized shoes on the sweetest little feet.
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness...
