Fun

Some days it still amazes me how much my life and priorities have changed. Four years ago if you would of told me that the highlight of my week would be surprising the littles with a trip to Toy's R Us then coming home and watching them play with their knew treasures I would have told you you are crazy . That there are so many other things I would rather do. Shop for new clothes for me, lunch with friends, date night with Jeff, spa days...

But now what brings me happiness is to see my three littles smile. To hear them squeal with delight in the back seat as I pull in to the toy store parking lot. To hear.. "Wow! Mom.. your the bast"..." Thank you Mommy".." Toys R us is the best place on earth". Watching their faces light up when we walk in and hearing them get excited over every little thing brings me so much joy. I know they will only be little for such a short time. One day they will be to big to play with toys and they will not get excited about the balloons in the store and the endless displays of cars, leggo's action figures and baby dolls. I miss these times with Sara so much. So each one of these fun little trips and experiences I am going to hold onto and cherish. I want to always remember every smile and giggle that comes from their excitement. Oh how I wish I could freeze these moments and live them over and over again. That I could feel the hugs and wet little kisses of thankfulness when they get their new treasure . And I am also so thankful that I have a husband who lives to spoil our babies as much as I do and works so hard to make days like today possible.

I love when we get home and they can hardly wait to play with their treasures. And when Daddy comes home how they trip over one another to show him what they got. I love watching them play. Today I just set back and enjoyed them playing  for about half a hour. No TV, internet or phone. The laundry and dishes just had to wait. Soaking in my sweet babies joy was top priority. I am extra excited that Lilly is getting into girl toys. Today she picked out a princess castle (YAY). She was so excited about it she kept hugging the box through the store.

This girl LOVES the alphabet so at the line I got her this cheap little magnet set. She put them on the fridge while trying to sing the ABC song:) After she was done playing with them she carried one in each hand for the longest times.

If you know anything about Colt you know he loves LOVES loves cars, firetrucks, trucks, airplanes and so on. He recently he and Ollie have got really into Transformers as well. So today instead of getting two separate gifts they pulled together and got the big Rescue Fire Station that goes with their Transformer's I was very proud of them for making the choice to share. Specially Colt, at three he can be a tad selfish at times. It blesses me to watch these two play. I love that they have one another. They love each other so much and are so funny to hear play. They call each other "Buddy" while playing.. "Hey Buddy! Let's go this way Buddy" as a example. I pray they always stay close and value one another and that their bond will just grow stronger as they grow into men.

Ollie ended up in his room to play video games. This left Colt alone with no one to play cars with. Some how he talked me into it and the next thing I know I was in the living room playing cars with the cutest three year old on the planet. I just can't resist when he says "Pay me Mom. Peeeeeease" and puts his little hand to his face begging me. By the way... playing cars is about as exciting as watching toe nail polish dry, but his smile and excitement made it worth it. Of course Lil's joined in on the fun. Before long we where all cuddled up watching.... get this one..."Shark Boy and Lava Girl". Yulp... ummm... I am thinking I earned Mom of the Year award for this one:) But again it was so fun and sweet just cuddling with my sweet babies and watching them play.

I love the way Colt lays on his side on the floor to play cars

Love my baby cuddle time.
This is the way we set for almost a hour watching this movie.

Colt grabbed my cell phone and wanted to take pictures of us. Love this.

Lilly is mad because she wants the phone..lol

Love these sweet pictures of my princess.
Isn't her top the cutest?! What I love about this design is that it grows with her.

See what I mean... This was exactly a year ago this month wearing the same top but as a dress.
She could not even walk yet... *tears*

And just for fun. All three of my babies last year.

My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
