1st grade

I cannot believe how fast time seems to be going by. It seems just like yesterday Ollie was learning to write his name and now he is starting 1st grade.

Can you believe how much is has changed in just one year?????

Ollie's first day of 1st grade

Yesterday we celebrated the kids last day of "freedom" by having a cook out, spending almost all afternoon in the pool.

And then letting them make their own sundaes. After a vote, Sundaes on Sunday as of last night, is a new Robnett family tradition.

Ollie packed all his school supplies.

Then he laid out his school clothes.

And yes.. he has to wear uniforms. I am not to happy about this. Oliver loves being dressed stlyishly as much as I love dressing him to be so cute. But I do have to say... Ollie can even make a uniform look good. He is one gorgeous little boy.

We also stopped in to tell Brenna good luck on her first day of 5th grade. And of course to embarrass her just a litte bit.

She was like... Can you please just go!!!!

His Daddy cleared his morning so that we could both walk Ollie in and so that we could have lunch with him.

On one hand it saddens my heart to see how fast he is growing. On the other, my heart swells with pride in the young man that he is becoming. Oliver has the most loving, gentle heart. I am so thankful that I have been given the oppertunity to be a mother to him.

I really hated leaving my Ollie bear. I have loved having him home with me all summer. The time we spent together was priceless! I am loving everyone of these milestones that I am getting to expeience with this little man.
