It's Great to be Eight {Oliver}

Image
I swear time seems to being speeding by at unbelievable speed. I CAN NOT believe that our Oliver is already 8. That I have only had 4 birthdays being his "Momma".   Oliver you are such a sweet loving little boy. You keep us laughing all the time with your one liners and cute faces and dances. You love to sing and dance. We never know when you will break into song.. living with you is a little like living in a musical:) You are also such a little charmer. Your always telling me how beautiful you think I am. You are the best big brother and take such good care of your little brother and sister.  You truly are one of the most special little boys I have ever met. I know that God has big plans for you. You have been through so much in your short life and have some how managed to still hang on to a sweetness that not many children have. The light of God shines in you.       You are so smart and have what I believe to be a photographic memory. ...

My Little Fashionista

Image
If you know me at all you know that I am obsessed with shopping for Lilly and the boys. All three of their closets are bursting with tons of cuteness! I love that people stop me where ever I am with Lilly and comment on her clothes. Several friends say she is the best  dressed kid in Midland:) It is vary rare she wears her clothes more then once or twice. A blog I follow is having a link up party to sell smocked clothes for little ones. So I decided to start a Facebook page dedicated to selling my three little ones clothes. It is a work in progress.. I have 8 tubs of Lilly's clothes to photograph and list not to mention tons of the boys stuff. If there is something you are looking for (a size or style) that is not listed just message me and I will probably have it. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.104700986372233.8664.100004969957700&type=1   I have a few things of Lilly's loaded and soon I hope to have a lot more plus some of the boys things. Happy Sh...

The Small Stuff {is Really the Big Stuff}

Image
  It amazes me time and time again how my life has changed. My priorities and what brings me joy is totally different the it once was.  It use to be traveling to New York, big shopping spree's that Jeff would take me on  or the amazing jewelry he would surprise me with for just no reason that would made me excited and happy. I loved getting dressed up almost every night to go to nice (non kid friendly) restaurants.   Now a days watching my freshly bathed babies eating yogurt and the excitement and joy in their laughter  is what my makes my heart explode with love and happiness. These are the moments I crave and look forward to the most.  My old life looks so shallow and empty now. I hardly know that woman any more.   {Not that I still don't like the other things, so don't think your off the hook Jeffery}         I truly feel like the luckiest Mommy in the...

Silent Night....

  Every year First Baptist Church has a live Nativity Scene. We bundle the kids up and take them.t is another way to show them while telling them the real meaning of Christmas. They LOVE going. Specially the hot coco and live animals. Oliver for got his coat so he is wearing mine.         Colt was super excited to see his teacher.     Brenna was having one of her (almost a )teen moments as you can see by the look on her face she was not in the best mood. She normally isn't for the first day she is with us, but in no time we had our sweet, loving, funny girl back. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. A Very Merry Christmas

Image
Somehow I hurt my back so I was not on my "A" game this Christmas with pictures. That and also I am still trying to figure out how to take non-blurry pictures with my new camera. This is the best picture I got of all four together:(     Brenna at 12 years old still believes in Santa and swears she always will. She wrote him the sweetest letter the night before and he actually wrote back. As she read it she even got tears in her eyes:) I love how one minute she is all grown up and to cool for her own good then the next she is still just a little girl believing in Santa Claus.      Santa must of really liked that letter to leave her Ugg boots.   It was so much fun watching the boys open their stockings and gifts. I love seeing the excitement in there faces....     And in their voices.... Colt kept yelling .. "Oh. My. Goodness." and "WOW" and "Thank you Santa" Then he would say.. "This is the be...
