1511 W. Missouri
I am writing about our home for our own personal memories.
I never want our children to forget living here.
but also ...
We are about to put our Midland home on the market. If you or someone you know is looking for a home.. please contact me. This house is beautiful. Built in the 1930's .. Just a few blocks from The Museum in old Midland. This house has so much charm and personality.
ENTRANCE
I love this area of the house. It is such a beautiful entry way.
To the left is the formal living area.. To the right is the formal Dining Room. And right in front is the stairs leading to the second floor.
Since I really took these pictures as a after thought before I started packing... The house is not spot less.. So excuse the chair not being pushed in and the laundry basket..just real life ;)
KITCHEN
Ok.. I have to admit.. I HATE this kitchen! I had big plans for a total remodel...
But now looking back, I realize just how special this area of the house was. We really "lived" in here.
I can not begin to count how many meals where eaten at that bar. How many homework assignments where completed, craft project and coloring pages where done here. Somehow when friends would be over.. we would all gather in here... How many memories where made... Now when I look at this picture I see home. I see family.

THE KIDS ROOMS
I have always dreamed of a house full of babies with cute, fun rooms...
I still am amazed that that dream has come true!
Baby Storrie's Nursery
Lillys Room
This is probably my favorite room in the house!!!
The play house in this room is defiantly my favorite part of the house!!
When we turned the attic into a room.. We decided to build a play house under the stairs..
Colt's Room
I LOVE this bed!!!
I spent weeks painting this dresser while we where waiting on Lilly to be born. Everytime I look at it I am transported back to that time. I was so excited.. And even more scared.
Oliver's Room
My room... I had already started packing before I took these pictures...

This is a BEAUTIFUL home that holds so much love and happy memories.
We were married in the back yard. Our babies came home from the hospital here. Endless back yard BBQ's and more birthday parties then I can count. Late night "girls nights" while sipping wine in the "red room". Amazing summers spent playing in the back yard and swimming pool. Wonderful memories of sitting on the front porch with Jeff while watching our babies play in the front yard.
We had the best neighbors... Missouri Street is more like a community then a address.
This is more then a house..
This is a home and I pray who ever moves in next loves our home as much as I do and always will.
For anyone who may be intrested in buying our home....
This house has three floors AND a basement.
A two bedroom pool house
A beautiful swimming pool
A storage room in the back
