Family Time....

It is so hard sometimes having Jeff in Midland during the week and only with us on weekends.
Sometimes we are really lucky and he can be here (and work from the house) during the week.

Everything is so pretty here and in the surrounding towns. Just going to lunch in Kerville is like stepping into another world. Chili's over looks the river. The kids love to run around and play after we eat and look at everything.

I absolutely LOVE these pictures of Storrie and Oliver.
He reall is the best big brother... And she totally ADORES him!

This little boy.. Oh my... the sweetness,

And this girl... She has so much life and love  in her.

One of my greatest joys right now is watching Storrie discover the world around her.
She is amazed by every little thing.

This boy.. Ha! He saw a group of teen age girls watching them play and
all the sudden he was acting all grown up.

He honestly was cracking me up!

They just love to run.
And I love to watch them. Colt looks so free and happy.

Our new lives are full of mixed blessings it seems. The kids and I miss Jeff so much during the week. I am basically a single mom when he is not here.. With four little ones, this is not easy..lol.
It is specially hard on him being away from the children and me so much.
But on the upside... When he is here, we spend so much more time together as a family. REAL time. We laugh and play so much more. We take walks and just hang out.

Simple things that we would of never done in Midland.. Like making 'Smores in the front yard...

Ruben and the other worker came over and joined us. Colt was not crazy about the taste of the roasted marshmellows, but LOVED roasting them.. So he kept giving them to the guys. Lol.

It was nice sitting back and holding my husbands hand for a few minutes while Ruben helped them :)

Every time Jeff leaves us to go back home to Midland.. His heart literally breaks.
When he is with us, I see him soaking up every minute with our babies.

It makes me love him even more to see the sacrifice  he makes for me and the kids.

This move allowed us to be closer to Brenna and offer the littles a more wholesome, innocent childhood. And soon our Sara will be here with us.
