Coltie Says
Colt has really found his "words" here lately. It seems he is talking all the time and saying the cutest things. I NEVER want to forget these moments. Since I cannot afford a camera crew to follow him around and record his every waking moment I figure I need to start keeping track of them here.
I know when you read these that you will probably not see the cuteness that makes my heart melt, it loses a lot in translation, but I know years from now I will be able to read this and hear that sweet voice and I will feel the glow of the cute boy he is/was.
This morning I came into the kitchen from dressing Lils and found that Colt peeled ALL the bananas. I asked him why he did it and he look at me so serious and said "Coltie's a monkey" Then he went crazy jumping up and down saying "Eeeek. Eeeek" (I guess that is what monkeys say in Colt's world.)
On the way to school this morning Colt kept yelling for me to go faster. It was so cute. He kept saying " Drive fast. Fast. Fast. Momma... hurry hurry. Honk. Honk. Beep. Beep. Go Momma go!" As much as the kid loves cars and speed I am not looking forward to him getting his license.
Colt loves his baby sister, he also loves pushing her down and hitting her on the head with his toys. Soon as she starts crying he is all about hugging her and saying, "Coltie loves the baby. Shhhh. It ok 'Illy" Then soon as she calms down he is hitting her again. Then when he gets put in time out (for beating his sister) he will call out to his big brother "Ollie! Heeeeelp me. Olllllieeeeee".
Here are a few pictures from the past week
After seeing his big bro wear a baseball cap, all the sudden Colt thinks he has to wear one every time Ollie does. Last night we where getting ready to go to dinner and Colt would not leave the house with out his ball cap. He kept saying " Colties. Hat. Colties. Hat". Finally we got to the restaurant and the lady asked what we wanted and Colt flashed her his million dollar smile and said "cheese pizza peeeeeeeeeasssssse". Every one around us giggles and commented on how adorable he is.
