The Ranch House

Image
We decided against building at the ranch, but instead we bought this really sweet cozy manufactured home. It would of been a year to build a house or we could have this delivered in 6 weeks or sooner. I can not believe how much I fell in love with this little house. Even though we will only be there a week or two a month and some holidays-- I am looking forward to turning it into a real home. A new place to build memories with our babies. And I am super excited to have place close to Brenna.       The littles were super excited. lol.  We went to eat afterwards to celebrate. Here are just a few picture of our silly little ones.    Can not wait for it to be set up and to be able to share more pictures soon:)

Elephant

Image
Last week Colt was watching a pre-school kids show called "Little Bill" it was the episode when Little Bill got a pet hamster and named him Elephant. Jeff called while it was on and Colt told him all about it and how he wanted one also. I got on the phone right away and told Jeff not to even think about it. No way .. No how ! Just DON'T!!   Fast forward to 6pm. I get a call from my sweet husband telling me to bring Colt out side to the car, he had a surprise for him. You guessed it-- A hamster named Elephant..lol..   The joy on Colt's face when he realized that Daddy got him a special pet "just" for him was priceless. He is such a cute tiny little thing.   Colt's favorite thing to do everyday is to watch Elephant on his hamster wheel. He is so funny. He keeps say "El-a-bent .. Your my sweet little minion". lol..     I just adore the love my husband has for his children and how he indulges them. One of the benefit...

September Fest 2013 {and Bren's first visit}

Image
September Fest was a few weeks ago. Sadly I some how came down with Fifth Disease , which is a kid illness and very rare in adults. But when a adult get's it, it is just horrible! I was so upset to miss out on the weekend of fun. Not only September Fest, but really enjoying Brenna's visit. It is the first time in six weeks that her mother allowed her to come. We had less then 24 hours with her and I barley remember any of it. While my Mom came and stayed with me (and Lilly) Jeff took the other three to enjoy SF.    I so wish Lilly would of been in this picture. I LOVE it!!   It is so sad that Jeff went from seeing his little girl fourteen plus days a week to MAYBE a total of 24 hours in the last two months. I can not even begin to explain the heart ache that this has caused our family. It is just down right sinful that a mother would keep a  child from her father this way. If you know my husband at all , you know that he lives for his children. ...

I Love You Small

Image
Dear Lilly, I never want to forget how you are right now. Your wee small voice, the way you call out to me in the morning when you wake up, bright eyed out of bed, how you look at me with mischief in your eyes and say “no” when you’ve done something naughty, and how big both your eyes & smile get when you hear the back door opening when daddy comes home. I hope I’ll always remember how little you are, how soft your skin, how round and pretty your tummy, and how you love to show it off to everyone. I never want to forget how you brush your hair and teeth like a big girl, how you want to do everything I do, including apply deodorant and scramble eggs. I love your big brown eyes and the way your dark lashes frame them so innocently, how you lift your arms high asking me to hold you, the way you listen intently as Daddy tells you stories before bedtime, and those sweet, sweet cuddles I get as I tuck you in for night night. You want to wear my sh...

Fredricksburg {Lunch with Brenna}

Image
The last day in Fredrickburg Brenna's mom was gracious enough to allow us to have a hour and a half with her. This is the last time we have seen her since we saw her off at camp. It is really hard on these three not seeing her like the use to.   The three littlest so excited, waiting to see Brenna.     Love this little Diva.      We went to this really great restaurant that has a beautiful out side patio.   The littles thought the dirt was about the most amazing ting ever. Ha!   Showing Brenna where our new ranch is on the map.  This girl cracks me up!! Just kicked back on the table enjoying the live music.   We really loved this time with our girl. It was so good to see her. She has no idea how much she is missed at home.

Jeff Bought the Farm

Image
Since Brenna moved to Harper, Jeff bought a farm in the same small town she lives in so we have a place to go and see her. We plan on building a "vacation" home there within the year. It is about 20 miles from Fredricksburg. A few weeks ago we went so Jeff could sign all the paper work and we could see our little farm. This was our first road trip with the kids. We normally stay pretty close to home. Of course the little ones slept a big chunk of the way which meant they were up all night     A true princess travels with her own castle.  The kids were so excited to stay in a hotel. Fast forward to 3 am and a screaming Lilly and we were all pretty much miserable. One thing we learned about our little doll is she does not travel well at all!!! But they did enjoy a picnic courtesy of the vending machines about 1am.     Just a few shots of our new farm. I am thinking we are going to have to go shopping for some cowboy boots and more "ranch ...
