The Robnett Zoo

Some how Lilly found a bag full of Saylor's headbands in her room and when I went to get her from bed this morning she was wearing them like a belt. She was super proud of herself. If you look close you can see the where the new and old tile meet. Here are just a few cute pics of the littles. They pulled out the bottom drawer so they could get the "treats" of the kitchen counter. Jeff was throwing Colt up in the air... So of course Lilly had to have her turn. The big excitement around here is that the city is doing some kind of work to our ally. I'm not really sure what, but it's all torn up and there are, to Colt's delight, a couple big tractors out back. So Jeff being the awesome Daddy he is :)  took Colt out to see what was going on. I had the littles matching shirts made and tried REALLY hard to get a good picture of them together.  As always, they had other ideas. But if we hope for...

I was going to make little gift bags for the littles CDO classes for Halloween but I was told {after I bought everything} that they were not going to be handing them out this year.  So, my two littlest got to play with them.  They had so much fun trying them all on. They would put on a pair and just giggle like crazy, then look at each other and giggle some more. They would move their little heads around and Colt would say in his silly voce...  "Ooooooooh... I got wiggly eye's" and of course Lilly would do the same. Ha! They had me in stiches. Make the most of every opportunity. Colossians 4:5

We just finished up the second week of the remodel. It is coming together and really looking great. I am SUPER excited. The tile is all down and the island is complete. I can finally start cooking in there again.  Ruben (our contractor) is now finishing up building some shelves and just needs to paint them, frame out a door, hang the light fixtures, add some molding and paint the two rooms. Hopefully we have only one more week. My beautiful new island We had to move the fridge into the new breakfast area for a few days so he could lay the tile. This was not big deal until about 3 am when I had to get Lilly a bottle and the fridge was gone. Ha!! Love my old texture and wallcolor.. but sadly looks like we are going to have to paint over it. On Tuesday, so my friend Tonia could go vote, I watched her girls for a couple of hours. Maddy is about 10 months older then Colt and Kinsley{also known as KK} is 3 weeks younger then Lilly. I actually have a picture of the girls together the day KK came home from the hospital. Tonia and I have tried a few play dates but it never seemed to work out. This time it was great. The two bigger kids played really well together and the babies did pretty good also. I love that Lilly has a friend that she will grow up with {like I did with Dana}. We are planning on them doing dance together and going to the same school. We even decided to have a joint birthday party for the girls since they are so close together and we have all the same friends. There sure was a lot of hugging and kissing going on. We waited a lot longer then normal to make it to the Pumpkin Patch this year. Just about all the pumpkins were gone so it was not as good as a picture opportunity as usual.  It was also to close to nap time and the kids were a bit crazy. I was also babysitting my friend Connie's little girl Whitney. She is just a few days younger the Colt. We totally adore her.  Ha!
